Memorable Day in Your Life Or The First Day at Madrasah (তোমার জীবনের স্মরণীয় দিন বা মাদ্রাসায় প্রথম দিন)
Introduction: During our short span of life many events take place, but all of them are not equally memorable. It is only a few of these events that I shall ever remember. However, I have a memorable event that I can't forget. It often flickers in my memory. Even after many days, the recollections of that memorable event come to my mind with all vividness and pleasure.
Occasion: The day was my first day at my madrasah. It happened ten years ago when I was a very little kid. My father and mother took the decision to take me to the madrasah. One early in the morning they told me to take bath and dress up.
Madrasah campus: When I entered into madrasah campus, I was very much attracted by the magnificent building with the spacious compound of our madrasah. Hesitation seized me. I was so ashamed that I could not talk with anybody. A large number of unknown faces made me scared and lonely.
My interview with the principal: My father took me to the principal's room. The principal looked at me smiling. He touched my head very affectionately. He asked me my name, my father's name, and some letters from the Arabic alphabet. At first, I was a little bit hesitant but the principal's soft voice made by easy. I was admitted later on.
My first class: I entered my first class. I saw some boys sitting and gossiping about themselves. I took a seat. When the bell announces the beginning of the period the total atmosphere took a radical change. All the students stopped gossiping and they kept pin-drop silent. After a few moments, a young gentleman entered the room. We all stood up. I came to know that he was our English teacher. He talked with us very softly. We all enjoyed the class very much.
Other classes: I attended two more classes on that day. I was fascinated by the learned and lucid lectures of all of my teachers. I found that a single teacher taught a single subject in which he specialized.
The madrasah library and canteen: One of my classmates took me to the madrasah library. I saw a lot of big almirahs full of rich and rare books and my heart leaped up with joy when I thought I would be able to read those books. I saw the madrasah canteen which is very large and well-decorated.
Conclusion: I came out of the classroom and returned home after the bell had rung. That day became the most memorable day of my life.
