Tanzeemul Madarisid Diniya Bangladesh

Tanzeemul Madarisid Diniya Bangladesh (Arabic: تعزيل المدارس الدينية بنغلاديش ‎‎) is a government-recognized North Bengal-based Qoumi Madrasha Education Board in Bangladesh, operating under Bogra Jameel Madrasha. It was established on April 3, 1995, at the initiative of Mufti Abdur Rahman. There are about 1563 madrasahs under this board.

History

On April 3, 1995, on the initiative of Mufti Abdur Rahman, an Ulama conference was held in Ulum Bogra near Al Jamiatul Islamia in the presence of more than 400 madrasah officials from 16 districts of North Bengal. In the said conference it was unanimously decided to form a board named "Tanazimul Madarisid Diniya Bangladesh". According to the announcement of the said conference, this board will be the national institution related to the control, development, and expansion of education and Islamic civilization-culture of the Qoumi Madrasha located in the whole of Bangladesh, especially in North Bengal.

A constitution was approved and printed in the Majlis meeting on 8th April 2008 for the smooth and orderly functioning of the Board.

On February 9, 2016, the Tanzeem Board organized a conference in Bogra when discussions started across the country regarding the association of illegal militancy with Qawmi Madrasha. More than one and a half thousand organization officials attended this conference. The conference declared, "The scholars and ulama of the Qawmi Madrasha have not had any relation with terrorism and illegal militancy in the past, and still do not. There is no question of staying. Because Islam is against all kinds of terrorism.
