A board called “East Pakistan Board of Examination for Technical Education” was formed on 27-01-54 in accordance with Resolution No. 188-Ind. Was formed. Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), Dhaka, is an autonomous body. BTEB is playing an important role in human resource development. BTEB has a role to play in the development of quality assurance, quality control, and technical education in Bangladesh.
BTEB is always looking for suitable training for the youth which is helpful for job search and self-employment and to adapt to the changing situation of the job market with the rapid change in technology.
The responsibility of BTEB is to conduct two public examinations [SSC (Vocational) and HSC (BM)] and other 73 examinations in other courses and to recognize new institutions and supervise and develop the supervision of all institutions under the Board.
